The Calm app is very popular for meditation and relaxation. You can choose from guided meditations to ambient nature sounds. The app is great for daily meditation, immediate relaxation, and sleeping. While there is a premium option that unlocks more features, you can still use the app without spending money.
MindShift is one of my favorite anti-anxiety apps. Recommended to me by my therapist, this app uses clinically proven strategies to help you be calm and mindful. On the app, you can do daily check-ins, meditations, breathing exercises, and much more.
Reflect.ly is a great app that serves as an online journal. You select your current mood and answer prompts about the past day. While this app is not targeted for people with anxiety, it is still a great medium for reflecting on recent events (which many people find therapeutic).
If you are not worried about paying for a subscription, Headspace is a useful app to have in your toolbox. Equipped with science-backed mindfulness tools and an abundance of calming audios, this app is designed to teach you how to meditate. Meditation is a great coping strategy and has many benefits to go with it. If you want to learn how to to relax and be in touch with your body, this app is for you.
